An Alien/Android hybrid

The facehugger would lay the the embryo in the androids body, but the embryo would need nutrients from the host (android). It could be possible if the androids have some kind of nutrients that the embryo could thrive on.

its just a question for $hits n giggles, its a hypothetical question for opinions on what the result would look like, what kind of characteristics it would have. in reality it wouldn't be possible as we all know the zeno requires proteins and minerals from the host to develop properly

I can see where they are coming from.... and yes it would maybe have more Synthetic elements?

But i am going to assume that a Android cant be infected because it has no Genetic Material..... a Synthetic Construct that has Synthetic and Genetic Material on the other hand could be infected maybe?  and would give us a more Bio-Mechanical look.

Elden got infected with the Black Goo and changed... so maybe instead he could have got Face Hugged to in Fire and Stone?

I however dont think this is how the Xeno came about and got its Bio-Mechanics..... at least not as far as Earth Synthetics.

I think the Xeno came from an engineer "with the bio suit " if you look at the suit minus the head/helmet its very similar looking especially the torso area. but could be just coincidence.

didn't david 8 require liquids and food (of some kind)  to function or was that just to fit in? bishop and ash consumed food.

This is kind of odd for a robot to eating food while dyeing his roots to match the rest of his hair.  So there is some keratin growth coming off the android.  If it eats and grows grey hair instead of blonde there must be some organics in him somewhere.  See picture of David8 in Prometheus below:

A facehugger could however gestate inside a replicant, which is what the Tyrell Corporation manufactured in Blade Runner, Ridley Scotts film directly following Alien and occurring in the same universe. A replicant is not legal on Earth, restricted to off world use and is defined according to the Blade Runner wiki as:  A Replicant is a synthetic human with paraphysical capabilities. It is a genetically engineered creature composed entirely of organic substance. I posted a forum titled breakthrough with the David / Xeno, and noted some interesting links between Aliens and Blade Runner, and posted a pic showing the direct link between the two. My initial theory was that David himself actually engineered the Xenomorph from a predominately organic creature, into a more efficient bio-mechanical killer using the equipment or facilities the Engineers use to make their goodies. With the Tyrell Corporation now being directly linked to the Alien universe, it allows for the Nexus series Replicants to play a role at some point. Perhaps even function as a logic-bridge for the gap between xenomorph and android. 

In Spaihts script the facehuggers don't attack David. He even grabbs one in its tail and then let it crawl up to Shaw's (Watts) face. In my opinion the aliens don't attack a synthetic since they don't send out body warmth, heart beats, breath, and other things connected to living beings.

Intriguing ideas so far.I got the idea from Prometheus:Fire and Stone.In it we see an android infected with the black goo and begins to take on pretty horrific traits.That and the possibility of the"David morph."

While I agree a hugger could very well impregnate a replicant - Alien and Blade Runner don't occur in the same universe.

The comic Purge had an Alien/ android hybrid, but she was genetically engineered/ built rather than the result of a hugger impregnating an android.

We dont know yet if the Tyrell Company are to be in the same universe.. Ridley said they could be... but thats not to say they 100% are..

If they decide to show it on screen in some way then maybe we could consider it...

But a Replicant is basically Human really its fully Organic and so a Xeno from one should be the same as one from a Human, the only difference would be what impact does Human Soul and Conscious have and carry on with a Xeno... if this applies then there could be a difference... as far as Mentally and Emotionally but not Psychically

indeed the Engineers suits looks connected, the Space Jockey and Engineers Flight/Bio Suits look connected and connected to the Xeno

The Derelict and Xeno look very connected and yet Juggernaught and Derelict look connected too..

So there has to be something that connects them all.

I agree with others here that e.g. David (and Ash) wouldn’t get attacked by alien creatures or affected by the mutagen (the black goo) since they are synthetic (no biological or genetic material). If you decapitate them you see only wires and milk like fluid (lubricant and cooling perhaps?). Replicants on the other hand are bioengineered and would therefore probably attract the attention of aliens . . .  

The Engineers are bioengineers (genetic engineers) creating new life forms. As I see it they don’t create life - they change life. The engineering is about biological mutation, evolution and terraforming. The mutagen is the result of biological engineering - perhaps using ancient alien species . . .

Biomechanics is only the study of biological systems by means of mechanics but a cyborg is a mix of biological/genetic material and techno synthetic material like Darth Vader or in the film Virus.

On the other hand, where is the borderline between organic and inorganic, animate and inanimate . . .

I understand all that.This one was just for fun,

hes not using just for men to hide the grey, hes imitating a character in the movie he likes. whether he eats for the same reason we do or to fit in isn't clear so its all just speculation looking for the missing link in the xeno physiology to explain why the xeno in alien looks so mechanoid.
