The miscommunication between the certain crews

I wonder for the following aspect

In Prometheus the crew ran into dangerous situation. In Alien covenant it seems that Elizabeth and David were crashed with the Juggernaut and that Crash has not been reported to Weyland corp. So the covenant crew does not know anything about the history of that ship. In Alien 1 the crew explores the Juggernaut also without knowing anything about the eggs and consequences. In Aliens the return, the same situation. So why there is that lag of Communication ?

maybe one additional note
in Prometheus, the scene where David, Elizabeth and Peter Weyland arrived at hypersleep terminal and woke up the big boy, Elizabeth wanted to know what the engineers were up to. In that case Weyland interrupted Elizabeth even he said that she could be killed if she did not stop starting questions. I mean it could be one case why information was always held to other crews and kept be internally.
