Ridley Scott Donates His Career Memorabilia to USC School of Cinematic Arts!

In a generous show of support for film, academia and education, Variety reported that ALIEN, BladeRunner, and Prometheus director Sir Ridley Scott, has donated his extensive collection of film memorabilia to the USC's School of Cinematic Arts.
From The Duellists onwards, this collection commemorates Sir Ridley's remarkable 40 year career, and will certainly be something to behold! Loads of material, including scripts, photographs, notes, awards, production design boards, and his famous storyboards will make up the collection. Being able to collate these historic items would be like Heaven to me!
“I continue to be impressed by the USC School of Cinematic Arts,” said Scott. “Perhaps if I had gone there, my film career would have started much sooner.”
I for one am glad that this important, cinematic motherload, will be preserved, referenced and kept safe for future posterity!
Both ALIEN and BladeRunner were considered works of such importance to American culture and history, that they were inducted into The National Film Registry in 1993 and 2002, respectively.
