In case you missed out on the initial phenomena that got Hollywood talking about this art again, here's what you have to catch up on.
Last year original Aliens effects artist Alec Gillis and Tom Woodruff Jr funded their Kickstarter for their all practical effects sci-fi/horror film Harbinger Down. It was the most funded movie of this genera on Kickstarter, ever. With Aliens actor Lance Henriksen in the lead and model builder Robert Skotak bringing the magic that he did to the James Cameron classic, Gillis and Woodruff along with their company Studio ADI, set to work, for the next year, producing and filming the movie.
On Monday, they release the first trailer.
...but, before then, they'll also be releasing new interviews, behind the scenes on their other classic movies, including more on the story of how the practical effects they created for the 2011 version of The Thing, their adventure working on the Aliens franchise, and more.
Keeping up with them this movie is easy, and will regularly blow your mind.
You can follow them at www.harbingerdown.com as well as on Facebook: harbingerdown-FB and their amazing You Tube channel: studioADI YouTube
