Hello everyone!

I do not know if you all know this, but Alex Kozhanoz, one of the artists of prometheus has released new artwork that appears to be involved with the sequal. Some pictures seem to contain engineers. It is on his website, gutalin.

Let me know what you think!

Been to his site and nothing really stands out as being linked to Paradise, ok some images have a Giger look but not much stands out, apart from yes he did a few Xenos and Face Hugers.

But this one is of interest...

Maybe its his take on the Engineer ship from the start of Prometheus?

If so i do like his concept work on it as we saw little of it in Prometheus and i do like the look that Gutalin has made with this image above.

if you go under sketches in the website you will find that the third picture is of an engineer woman curled up in a ball. In another picture, not in sketches, there is a female engineer submerged in alien like tentacles. That picture is called "resurrection."

There are alot of images of "female engineers?" on Sergey's site VK. I posted a link to it in December and if you take a tour through the numerous artworks, you will find images of, what look like female engineers, some of which are Gutalin's work:

The poster was good though!

I've just had a look on VK for designs of female engineers. There are designs of female engineers there, but not from Gutalin. So, i think you have come across something new First Child. Whether or not it is concept work for Prometheus 2, i don't know.

The poster was good though!

Well i can not fond any female Engineers on the Gutalin page....

On the VK i have seen a few, mainly the drawing and sculpture with  the Xeno as a pet. I for one would not want to see Any female Engineers or if so only a few Female Elders as i would like them to tell us the tale that these Engineers had either lost ability to reproduce like we do, or they never needed or had that ability or that they evolved into a single sex.

Maybe if they showed us flash back scenes set Millions or Bilions of years ago then we see females then i guess thats ok.

Ah, this one:

I have a feeling it\'s one of his old pieces - from the time of Prometheus.

That piece is new. I have looked at his website in the past, and this picture was not on there. Also there are other pictures of an engineer woman and an artificial moon that can possibly be an engineer base. The title of the other engineer woman picture is called "resurrection."

Anybody else notice the M577 Armored Carrier Transport vehicle from Aliens in the bottom left of the image BigDave posted? I can totally see this being the crashed ship from the beginning of Prometheus, without a doubt. I hope the sequels shed more light on the two factions of Engineers (if there are) and why the Engineers looked so different at the start of Prometheus than they did at the end.

I just noticed that. This picture is definitely new and definitely connected to the alien franchise. Good Observation!

Wow I never knew how much concept art there was it took me like 20 minutes just to look at them all.

The Anunnaki were on the earth in those days--and also afterward--when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, mighty men of high reno

Here's another one by Gutalin. I found this on Yahoo Images. As you can see, it's of a dropship like the one in ALIENS, flying through a strange structure.

The poster was good though!

I just have to say I love all the new hardware in Prometheus and i hope they move forward from there, not resurrect designs from Alien/Aliens, except for the sake of continuity. The art direction and cinematography set a tone and I'd hate to see that thread lost.

Also, I just don't know how I feel about female Engineers! I know I'm in the minority on that one.

If those designs are indeed something that might belong to the sequel then it is an exhilarating find.

The female engineers ought to make an appearance. The Alien saga is about the Female and Motherhood. Ridley Scott would probably want to distance this new mythology from that of the main series, but it is all in the same universe. The Engineers in Prometheus are not androginous, they are not ambiguous: they're obviously MALE. And they ought to have a mu-th-ur, yes?

Unfortunately, that art of what seemed to be the Round Speceship from the beginning of Prometheus is inspired by a Russian sci-fi movie of the 60s called Tumannost' Andromedy. http://gutalin.deviantart.com/art/Tumannost-Andromedy-286397618?offset=10 | https://www.google.com/search?q=Tumannost+Andromedy&rls={moz:distributionID}:{moz:locale}:{moz:official}&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=M9f_UtapC8XIsAS614GYDg&ved=0CAoQ_AUoAg&biw=1280&bih=673

Cremildo, if what you say is true, than why is the tank from aliens in there?

How do you know it's the tank from Aliens and not a vehicle from the same Russian film?
