Alien: Out of the Shadows bridges the gap between Alien and Aliens, this is an all-new original adventure for Ellen Ripley, revealing untold secrets from the series.
So, if you have any questions for Tim Lebbon about the novel and his interest in the Alien franchise, leave them as a reply to this thread below and I'll gather the best, or all of the questions and send them off to him once we've accumulated enough entires.
I will also be posting a review of the novel soon as well since I was sent a review copy. So, be sure to keep an eye out for that as well!

MemberNeomorphJan-13-2014 5:34 PMI'm really looking forward to the release of this novel and i'm hoping that it will shed some light on the mystery that is the Space Jockey and his cargo of eggs! (Wishfull thinking, i know.)
So, the most obvious question to Mr Lebbon would be:
Will there be any answers, or even just clues, as to why the Space Jockey landed on LV 426 and why he has a cargo of alien eggs?

My question to Tim:
As we all know, Ellen woke from cryosleep with no recollection of the 57 years between events of Alien and Aliens... how do you acknowledge her memory loss in your story concerning the already established canon?

I think my question will be:
Do you cover the origins of the Bishop android line and how the companies made manufacturing changes to the synthetic industry after the whole Ash incident? Bishop mentions in 'Aliens' how the Ash model was twitchy, and it is implied because of that the next generation of androids/synthetics were programmed with Isaac Asimov's 'Three Laws of Robotics'.

My question would be:
Will the novel reveal how much the Company knew about the Alien, Space Jockey etc before the Nostromo was re-routed?........and/or if relevant anything they knew about the Engineers/Goo/Deacon before the Prometheus mission began?
