Who's agenda ?

From what I know now about the making of Prometheus, one of the scenes that sticks strongly in my mind is the ‘agenda’ meeting with Vickers. I wonder if this was based on Ridley’s meetings with the suits over Prometheus. I don’t know if this was deliberate, but if you listen to the bits about who is in charge and who’s paying, it certainly has me wondering about how much of possibly Ridley’s dealings with Fox may have overspilt into the movie dialog. Any thoughts?
