High breed of Aliens

Could be a altogether different strand, such as the one in AVP. But AVP did show different Xeno's still had 'Hive mentality', and work with any other Xeno to continue procreation and protect the queen. Not sure how all 3 are going to tie together, it already was depicted Predators brought Xeno's to earth.0_o

good lord. AVP doesnt exist in the context of prometheus/Alien etc. AVP was, essentially, a king kong v. godzilla, fanfiction type spin off. AVP is not part of alien canon. "Predators" have NEVER been mentioned in a traditional alien film. not once. As far as the deacon is concerned... it stands to reason that it might be a bit more intelligent than some of its counterparts, but i think having the thing fly a ship would be asinine. here's hoping....no flying deacons.

This is a Ridelly Scott's opinion VS James Cameron. Scott says he never saw the AVP films so they are not incorporated yet (and I agree, probably never). Cameron on the other hand is open to the idea and ranks AVP 3rd best out of all 5 movies. Even so if you remove even mentioning Predators, we just call it a Godzilla VS King Kong, the point is Xeno work together regardless off what species it spawned from. As based on Cameron's original work with both universes are based on regardless, would be more plausible for the cross breed mentioned in the post.

Is that true about James Cameron ranking AVP 3rd? I suppose he's favourite is his own and alien 2nd.... What a tit. He probably thinks Piranha 2 is better that Jaws.....

@2bull: i have no idea what you are talking about. Cameron has gone on record vehemently admonishing the AVP series. In fact, in the interview that i heard, cameron was more outspoken in his dislike for the AVP series than even scott. Both cameron and scott have stated, explicitly, their dislike for the cinematic travesty that is AVP. ill never understand how there is even anything to debate here. To each his own.

James Cameron can shut his mouth as far as i'm concerned. The first Alien was the only one that was really any good. Aliens was an okay film, but COMPLETELY changed the vibe/look of the Universe, and the creepiness of the Xeno. I know a lot of fans hate the QUEEN and the 'insect hunt'- this isn't what bothers me. For me it's just an action movie with a bunch of Mercs hunting some foreign threat. It may as well be any other action movie. The acting is (mostly) terrible. Bill Paxton being an example- "game over man, game over". Paul Reiser is just an abortion date that got missed because his mom was busy drinking. (This isnt a dis' to Cameron, just wasn't nearly as good as Alien.) I do like 1 and 2 (of course) the most, 3 in 3rd and 4 waaaaaay waaay down the line with a huge gap in 4th place. (It was just embarrasing) the AVPs dont exist im my life and that's it. It's not arrogance, i just plain don't think of them as part of the series. (4 either, really- to me it should have stopped after 2- maybe push the mediocre Alien3 in for the Trilogy)
