When Vickers kills Holloway. He should have been taken to a quarantined medical room to be examined and treated. That the Prometheus apparently didn't have either the procedures or the facilities to accommodate this is absurd! I liked the movie, but this scene was just so bad. They didn't even have a doctor on board, on a mission two years away, with Weyland himself on board in stasis and the rest the crew to look after.

i hated the part where hundreds of people nit picked everything the crew said and did to death for months on end.
oh wait...... you said IN the movie.

That is what fans do belladonna. And if we didn't appreciate the film then the majority of us would be hanging out in some other site discussing something else.
My least favorite scene? Hard to say, there are so many disturbing twists and turns in the script.

if everyone is entitled to their opinions then so am i.
also, maybe you missed some of the complaints, people that make replies of single sentences like "this movie blew" instead of an actual intelligent addition to the conversation. doesn't sound like an appreciative fan to me.
but, i have been on here much longer then you have so i have seen epic amounts of b**ching, and i am growing evermore tired of it.
thats as far as i will get into this topic.
p.s. there IS a negative review room, i wish more of the dislike comments would hang out there. *hinthintnudgenudgepeople*

The scene where Fifield and Millborn are attacked... It just seemed awkward,,not as thoughtful as other movie scenes.

I do sympathise with your point of view, Belladonna, especially as a lot of nit picking is done by nitwits.
Having said that, the low point for me was the Fifield zombie. The alternative Fifield scenes were so much better IMHO.
The most terrifying fact about the universe is not that it is hostile but that it is indifferent

Zzplural:
Totally agree!! The CG VERSION (once refined) would have been much more effective. He looked like a lumbering cave-man zombie in the film.
The CG version was MUCH more obviously a Xeno hybrid of sorts, and would have fit much better. It also would have eliminated sooo many questions.
By far the weakest scene!! (And the only one i didnt care for btw)

Agreed, zzplural. I remember my reaction in the theater - "why is the wolfman in this movie?"

my least favorite scene was when the Prometheus rammed the Juggernaut. spending a trillion dollars to get to LV-223, I'd make damn sure I had some powerful firepower on the Prometheus. never would I'd risk my ship to destroy the Juggernaut, I'd use some nuke missles....
I should reach the frontier in about 6 weeks. With a little luck, the network will pick me up. This is Ripley, last survivor of the Nostromo....

Holloway was infected with something unknown, on a planet riddled with corpses that were similarly infected. Two crew were dead. They did have medical facilities, and a doctor, and David, but Vickers, not known for her sensitive side, had the last word. Simple.
Why did the crew of the Nostromo have dinner with a fellow who had hours before been comatose with a huge yellow acid bleeding spider attached to his face and a tube down his throat?
The only off note for me in Prometheus was the warm smile that passed between the pilots as they flew to their death. Disneyesque. Hardly enough to ruin the film, though. I understand Belladonna's frustration, Prometheus has been persecuted to death seemingly for the sheer joy of doing so. This is the first really intelligent blockbuster sci fi film to come along in many a year. It's an accomplishment. To those who would do it in: do better!
