MemberOvomorphOct-30-2012 4:35 PMParadise begins as Shaw and David make there way to the engineers home planet...Paradise. Shaw repairs David knowing that being whole is dangerous because David has little remorse for the outcome of Shaw but shares in her desire to meet their so called maker.
Deep routed plot and script details are still undeveloped, but the basic plot of the movie will result in the discovery that the engineers home world, contains the engineers God. The plot will reveal that the engineers God is an Alien creature (xenomorph). It will be a design we have not quite seen before but similar to the wall morel. It will be a dark, horrible place...afterall the engineers ship and nothing about the previous Alien movies indicate anything we would consider true Paradise.
Shaw discovers that the Alien God is the god of the engineers and the engineers are simply pawns, who sacrifice themselves to serve that god and create life on planets as a first step to creating breading grounds for aliens.
It will also be revealed that the Aliens (xeno) have a penis like member that penetrates a host at will. This object injects the black goo...thus explaining its origins.
Thus the alien is the master, the engineers are the slaves and the humans are just part of the evolution to the creation of alien offspring. The Engineers were once similar to us and were conquored by there out of control xeno experiment. By the end of the movie a ship is sent to investigate LV 223 with Shaw and David aboard...the Alien god wants to complete the mission to destroy earth and thus create more off spring. "Sometimes one must destroy in order to create". By the end of the movie Shaw dies...but see's her father and mother and realizes that there is something beyond all the horror she discovered. David is left on LV223 and the engineer ship which came to investigate gets infected from the xeno left behind in the first Prometheus movie and crashes on nearby LV426.
As an irony david is left alive on LV223, and realizes that future life on earth may come back to investigate (like before - due to the cave paintings). In search of there makers and find David...in there image.

MemberOvomorphOct-31-2012 2:29 PMOk first thing Prometheus and alien are separate films and I quote from the Art of Prometheus book 'the script became a stand-alone story one which shares it DNA with alien but is not a direct prequel'. Ridley Scott also felt that the 'good old alien has worn out' so basically a king has his reign then he dies.
Paradise will most likely not have xenos but angry testosterone filled giants with devastating bio weapons looking for an excuse to push the button. Or maybe the complete opposite and Paradise whilst resembling nothing of the word, is its self a harsh terra formed environment that could be inhabited by a race of spiritual giants who have much to teach us.
David will probably become some sort of talking football because from what I can tell the engineers don’t like androids or anyone disrupting the natural order of life, the engineer was pissed when Weyland asked to be immortal. The engineer in the extended scene replies to Weyland then you wouldn’t be a man and bashes him over the head pity it was cut out of the film because the deleted scene made more sense.
They could take a liking to Shaw who being spiritual herself is a more suitable spokesperson for the human race instead of an android with an agenda and a vendetta against humanity. But if it’s true about us crucifying an engineer 2000 yrs. ago I wouldn’t turn up wearing a cross. I can see Wayland-Yutani corp turning up and putting their foot in it by trying to steal stuff off the engineers as Peter Weyland planed, you can find evidence of this in the Weyland files I think it was the memo about Shaw. So a Human v Engineer war might happen or might be stopped last minute.
Lv426 will probably be used as a link to alien and will probably be explained in the extras section on the blue-ray release. Along with any parts of the plot that make sense. But no Xenos ok none not even a cameo, paradise will be about Shaw getting her answers. But at this point anyone guess is as good as mine.

It is also possible that they not tell you the name of teh planet it crashes on...but show you a similar scenario to help create a visual. Like the beginning scene in Prometheus...whereas we are told that the engineer could be on any planet creating life...not necessarily earth. But earth can be inferred...because its a similar event.

I think that..my idea of the engineers relying on the black goo to make them immortal...in the sense that they revert back to non coporeal and then a juvenile younger version of theirself..better.
Much like a jelly fish that lives in our ocean...
The murial in the burial chamber could depict... an event in their history but couldn't depict the crucifixition of christ as it would have been pre 2000 years...
So paradise...a darkplace...
My expectations...learn more about engineers..
Learn that the engineers are like us flawed...and not gods...
More questions raised about the definition of the soul...and could david evolve to have one...
Answer why the engineers were coming to commit genocide on humanity...

1. What is and what is the source of the black goo = xeno sperm
2. Who are the engineers = they are not gods just pawns who lost control of there own experiements and are now slaves to there creator.
3. Why they want to destroy earth = to continue the evolution of there xeno god - phase 2.
4. What is teh temple = xeno crucified god, head of the host...humanoid surrounded by vases of goo. The full evoutionary cycle.
5. What happened on lv 426 = infected ship crashes
6. The xeon was described by ASH as a perfect organism...it should end up the god in the end.
7. Davids destiny = left on LV223...to maybe be discovered in the future and become godlike in a way.
8. Shaws destiny = realize there is a truely better place...but its not what she has discovered...its beyond life.
its a great storyline.

By the end of Paradise we are left with David in the ife boat pod watching lawence of Arabia and quoting the line "Damn it, Lawrence! Who do you take your orders from?"
David no longer takes anyones orders. Full circle....the engineers play god and create xenos (perhaps as a weapon since they dont appear to have weapons)...their creation gets out of control and becomes their ruler or god. Then the engineers become part of the xeno's basic instincts to breed. The engineers are then used as slaves to self sacrafice and create life on other planets with the black goo (which is xeno sperm) and that life is part of the process.
Life develops to a certain point, finds the cave paintings and at that points needs to be destroyed in order to create something better....the perfect organism...the xeno's.
Only we do teh same thing...we create life with david, as weyland said, we are now the gods. Only our creation "david" also turns on us...afterall he set the entire thing in motion with the fingertip scene. Now david is alone and answers to nobody. And ironicly can be re-discovered by humans later who seek to do find our creator on lv223...in some ways making him a god.
could also be a loose connection to the upcoming blade runner story line. which will surely discuss similar subject matter.
full circle. the lesson is...dont play god...the xeno's will win.

As much as I love the Alien series minus Resurrection - those cockroaches that call themselves Xenos need to take a backseat! I am tired.
Bit silly don't you think? Their bio weapons get out of control and they end up worshipping them as Gods - what the... I don't think so. It's fine, if this is what you want to see in the upcoming sequel, it's all fine and dandy. But to claim that this is going to happen isn't! I want proof Mister S, and I want proof now! So show me your sources!

MemberOvomorphOct-31-2012 12:53 PMNot silly, they worship them as gods because they are engineers and they respect them. After all, ASH admired the xeno too. And lets not forget, the engineers ship had a shine with a xeno mural. This plot idea is already been laid out...silly or not.
source? proof? This is a plot idea, as titled. for discussion. Im pretty sure they havent even started the script yet.
Personally...i love it! Its cool, erotic, intellegent, thought provoking and deep. And best of all...its consistant with the alien/prometheus story line.

But i don't feel that he back goo is a weapon...i belive we stumbled on it and believe it can be very unstable....
When whelan asked the engineer to be made immortal he didn't say that wasn't possible...
So may be the black goo has diferent properties and is ment to be used in sea water...the engineers are made immortal...their body is then destroyed...reforms itself into a juvenile younger version of itself...and the life created are their offspring..we are their children..
But we killed our parent..and now we must be punished...

Shaw and David are escorted into a throne chamber by an engineer. They come face to face with the xeno ruler/god of the engineers. The engineer and xeno god seems to be able to communicate with teleplay not words.
The xeno god asks (through the engineer and David) Why are you here and where are you from? Shaw states “we are from earth and we came to discover were we are from?. The xeno god seems angry and after a short exchange with the engineer in the room…
Shaw asks David to ask “why create us only to destroy us?”
The xeno god does not answer, but the engineer does and David translates using they engineers species name for the first time.
“An Ahealum long ago sacrificed themselves to create life on your world, to create you. We are not destroyers, we are creator.”
Then a female looking engineer (Ahealum) enters the room, mostly naked. She approaches the xeno god and lays upon an alter type table. The xeno god then approaches her and a penis type object emerges from its pelvis area (similar to early HR Giger concepts). The xeno god penetrates her and she expresses pleasure not pain. She begins turning black (as the xeno ejaculates the black goo in her) she starts to liquefy and begins spilling down a channel in the table to a waiting vase (like the vases in the first Prometheus).
Shaw starts screaming, Davis turns to shaw with a puzzling look and simply says “The trick, is not minding that it hurts…I think you have your answer Dr. Shaw.”
Shaw realizes that the human race was created simply to be sacrificed for the creation of xeno offspring…a new xeno planet…like the bee who pollinates a flower they are simply pollinating there xeno species.

While the Engineers obviously revere the Xeno/Deacon and recognize it as something like "The Perfect Life Form" - the Xeno's are the pawns.
The mural shows a Xeno-type creature at the side of the Engineer like a faithful dog. The Engineer definitely has dominion over this creature. It's a master-slave relationship.
I believe people were only created as hosts to facilitate the mass-production of the Xeno. (Crash black goo into earth- Xeno creation on a planetary scale)
There is NO WAY the engineers are slaves to the Xeno- also no way to know what Paradise holds- sorry.
