Ampule Room Head

You could be right, I'm sure i read somewhere, by either Ridley or Lindelof, that the giant head was built by the engineers to celebrate themselves. Lol isn't vanity supposed to be a sin? However, it reminds me of an head of an artificial man. I believe the engineers on LV 223 have been created artificially, not robots but genetic replicants, clones. Then again my other theory is that god is a robot. :-) EDIT: When i look at it, Frankinsteins monster comes to mind lol

@Custodian - Very Cool picture! I assumed the ampule room to be in the pyramind. It was near the hole where they were able breathe clean air & water was falling/forming? David was able to access the Juggernaut from inside the pyramid, too.

@Custodian, that's something that baffles my head also. When i first saw the film at the pictures (cinema) the juggernaut is rising out of the ground from a different location to the temple, ie not rising up from directly underneath the temple. BUT after watching the BluRay a few times and pausing on the part where Janek says "that is a ship" if you pause it and take a close look at the juggernaut, there are a number of chambers in it that look like the ampule chamber. However, the artwork, in the book "Prometheus the art of the film" shows that the juggernaut is in a different location to the temple. Also, when David comes across the tunnel that leads to the juggernauts pilot chamber, the tunnel looks different to the tunnels in the rest of the temple. So, i've come to the conclussion that the ampule chamber and the juggernaut are in different locations.

@Custodian - The conceptual art I have thus far seen is likely the tip of an enormous iceberg. I would bet there is other art from the movie, that was not even made public! I would love to see it all, even the stuff they threw out as 'not good enough'!!

From what ive seen in the movie it looks to me that the pyramid is central operations area that supports possibly 4 ships . The tunnels are just access ways.

David says there are MANY more ships. The crew from Prometheus barely explored the pyramid, as well, especially in terms of its upper floors.

The Big Head Room is in the centre of the pyramid at the bottom. Schematic shown at 1:02:35

Did then Pups discover any rooms...othter than tunnels in the higher 'floors of the Pryamids? It seemed all tunnel like to the top. Also what about that air/water shaft(just before Holloway removed his helmet) location.. At first I thought it must have been in the center,,,but it was discovered in one of the outer tunnels as i recall..

Watched prometheus again this morning and there seems to be something going on BELOW the ampule chamber and tunnels of the temple in the pup mapping hologram? There's definitely activity down there! It's just after the scene where Vickers says to Janek "my room, 10 minutes" around the time that Milburn molests the snake. What's going on down there then?

@Indy John: They don't show any distinct rooms on the upper floors of the pyramid, but I think it's likely there would be. The pups can only go through the hallways, I assume, passing any doors.

Looking at this pix..well with the location of F/M//and then the pups..it definatly looks l;ike something is going on..down there.. way below what I thought was the Juggernaut location.. What still concerns me is when Janek ask to remove all of the pyramid graphics,,the display just left the Juggernaut. As I recall it was right at the base of the pyramid,, During the Shaw escape scenes it was flat land (as the surface plates pulled away,),with not covered by debris from the domes.

Here's a shot from a different point of view. One of the pups is mapping a chamber at a lower level. It's at a similar depth to the tunnel that links the dome with the Juggernaut, off to one side. I see what you mean. When he said to remove the 'dome' from the hologram I just thought it was moved away,,,revealing the ship. THere is something more going on in the pyramid area that at first it seems. Like a duck floating on the water,,,but paddling below,,like hell..the unseen areas are where the action is,,,or was...

wait, wait, wait, the Ampule Room is not the CARGO HOLD of the Juggernaut? I know this (now) sounds like the most obvious result in the world BUT this was the implication in the film, no? Then what cargo did the Juggernaut contain? That was never mentioned? Were those shots of MILLIONS of containers, all stacked up, in the pyramid or the Juggernaut?
