I actually like the NEW HOLLOWAY

Well it would nit be a let down if he did not suicide himself and go with Shaw in the end but oh, who am I to blame. . . But it is understandable but I think he had a bit high hopes for the planetoid :/

Zeta, it's a discussion of the "new Holloway", as witnessed in the recently-released-quickly-suppressed 'Holloway has a charming way with the ladies' Deleted Scene; you know the one where Shaw smashes him across the face many many times to show her love, then coitus. LOL

Yeah, he was a dick in the deleted scenes. I suspect it was changed to make him a bit more likeable, so you'd care when he dies.

No no no, I mean, he comes across as LESS OF A DICK in the new i.e. deleted scenes. He's SORRY, "Yeah, it took a couple of slaps to the face," to bring the apology out of him but he got OATS for his charmless antics, [b]wild oats[/b]. LOL

See, the thing for me is, "Hollyoway suffered from that phenonenon all Scientists suffer from, that MASSIVE CHIP ON THE SHOULDER," and he couldn't accept that perhaps 'any God particle' was perhaps a bit too ambivalent to seem logical. God is not a scientist, but he's got all his fingers in all the atomic pies, even though you can't see/hear/touch/taste him - even though you can't mathematically calculate his/her presence -- expecially when it looks like the God(s) have abandoned LV-223 already. No?

I actually felt more for him after seeing the deleted scenes, because it showed why he was so bitter.
