Prometheus 2: The Aliens

Am I an idiot or does this have nothing whatsoever to do with Prometheus or Prometheus 2? Is it making fun of Prometheus in some way that I don't understand? Regardless, I didn't find it very amusing.

Like all things in this world, humor can be taught, inherited, or just acquired by those around you. Not everyone will find certain things funny or even mildly amusing, but life is like that I guess. I myself find many things funny, not because they remove the moral boundaries of social acceptable standards, but because deep down there is a absurdity that cannot be denied, and that I find humorous. This forum has many such examples and many are deathly serious in their content. Watching (3) aliens talk about the typical day their having and then having the precious egg turn into a xeno facehugger... that's funny. Not for it's content, but that intangible element that most ordinary people would not catch. @Engineering, I am sorry you do not find it funny, I will strive to put forth more appealing bits in the future and if you like them that would be so awesome. staff: Weyland Corp. Makes sense to me..... Trying to Fry some Eggs, and the Black Goo gets to he Chicken Egg and then it changes to Xeno Egg. who needs Ridley Scott for answers... So is not the Chicken or Egg Its the Chicken Eggs + Black Goo.

@Patch...First let me say I'm sorry if I came across too harsh. I find absurd things funny all the time. The problem with this is that the title of the video is "Prometheus 2" and it has nothing to do with Prometheus. As I sat there watching it I kept waiting for the Prometheus connection and it never came. Looking at the other videos by this youtube member I noticed that they do this a lot. Seems they get a lot of views when they name their videos "Prometheus 2" or "Jurassic Park 5" and they exploit that. That's irritating to me. I might have found the video hilarious if I wasn't so irritated when I found it was all a ruse to up their view count. Furthermore, this thread should be in the "Community" section of the forum instead of the "Prometheus Media" section as it has nothing to do with the film Prometheus. I'm not trying to be a dick. Just saying. I find absurd things funny all the time. To proove it I will recommend David Lynch's Dumbland to anyone who hasn't seen it and enjoys absurd cartoons like this one. One of the great things about Dumbland is that it's all hilarious despite a lot of it seeming stupid and random. However many things make sense if you pay attention. @David 1...At least that video is what it says it is. I wonder what Freud, Lynch and Cronenberg would make of you posting a link to a video like that. I know exactly why you did it but I think they might be misdirected.

I gave the video another chance and somehow I had missed the egg turning into a semi-Alien-looking egg and the face hugger jumping out so I guess it does maybe-sorta-kinda have something to do with Alien or Prometheus. I really did try to open my mind and find it funny but it just didn't work for me. So, I apologize further if I came across rude, Patch. Seriously, from the bottom of my heart, I apologize for coming across like that. Please also realize that my distaste for the video had nothing to do with you or the fact that you posted it. You and everyone else has the right to post anything they want within the guidelines of the forum. Just as myself and everyone else has the right to like or dislike something and post accordingly.

They should call Prometheus 2 "Pandora" to go along with the myth of prometheus.. After all the Xenomorphs anthropologically follow 1 queen, female. Pandora is the female antagonist of the Prometheus myth, Zeus, is the male.
