its a pity. this actually is a cool idea, reminding of the first Alien or even other Horror movies like exorcist..BUT they HAD to do it completley unrealistic.. his hips should be visible, so they just laid the legs above his shoulders..

The crab position was homage to the classic ALIEN crabwalk...

Um, a scene that was cut from the original alien Mr. Yutani.

I hate this character. He loves rocks, scans the place, makes a map, gets lost while in constant contact with the ship, and then shows up to kill a few of the crew because he's all mutated before he's killed in 2 minutes. If you were to cut the character out of the movie, you wouldn't miss a thing; actually, the movie would flow a lot better.

@ares I am quite aware. It was HOMAGE to ALIEN, for all the hardcore fans. However, they didn't get the picture...

XD The original crab-walk was cut because it looked RIDICULOUS. The scene was cool, but the walk SUCKED.
