Ok, got like 2 sentences in and saw "shooting starts later this year" or something or other and knew it was bs. Unless they are going with another director or Scott can shoot The Counselor in less than 6 months it's bs. Also, the fact that they kept story elements so secret for so long regarding Prometheus makes it very strange that some "insider" would leak info on the sequel this soon. Who knows though. I'd be happy as a pig in shit if Scott somehow got out of doing The Counselor and started this and then did Blade Runner.

I give it a 99% probability of being fake. But, it's looking VERY likely that at least one sequel will be green lit. Before all is said and done, I think it's tracking for $350~400 million. Perhaps they'll even double-up on 2 AND 3 to save on production costs. I believe they've held the Elder Engineer content back in the missing 21 minutes. I expect we'll be seeing it in October. Perhaps the Italian Release will even be only the "full (un-butchered) film." Poor things; I hate it for them that they have to wait so long, but FOX does that to them all the time.[u] There[/u]'s a good reason to reboot your population growth! :•)

Another thing to think about is that Scott and co could very well actually be working on it as well as The Couselor. They were doing prep on Prometheus for quite some before they got a green light to begin. And I think I read somewhere that he was actually shotting or working on something else during the day and would work on Prometheus in his off hours. I'll have to look for where I read that and what exactly was said. I just seriously doubt shooting will begin shortly this year.
