The engineer's eyes (yay or nay?)

Am I the only one that thought the engineer's eyes looked completely ridiculous and resembled something out of a bad Lady Gaga video? Honestly for a 9ft humanoid, the almighty creator of mankind I thought that single design feature completely negated any intimidation or awe that was felt when he appeared on screen. Any thoughts?

tbh theyre eyes looked observant yet lifeless, as if to connotate to their actions - lack of emapthy. They didnt bother me really I thought theyre eyes evoked mystery.

I was underwhelmed by the entire creature design at first, but then it grew on me. (Including the eyes.) What they've tried to do is make them seem statuesque, just like ancient Greek or Roman deities. They look human, yet also otherworldly. And of course, there's the cheeky trick that you can't complain about them looking too human.

I wasn't happy at first but I think the engineers actually look quite awesome.

I thought they looked like the eyes of horses actually... a little far-fetched maybe.

Now when I have the DVD and stop to check out his eyes all I can say that they are actually beautiful big blue eyes :)

The one part of the Engineer's design that looked out of place was his bald head .. especially when after waking up,,sat on the side, His head was so shiny that it looked like a billiard ball..porcelain in composition...not hairless or bald,,,but a manufactured skull. That sort of raised the idea that the Last Engineer was maufactured..
