Did The Derilict/Juggernaught have/has the capacity to fly vertically like a Tron Recodnizer? Because seeing it rising up out of the 'Temple Mount' chamber makes it look-like and up-side-down Recodnizer from Tron.

No one knows yet. I haven't seen anything to say it does so far. :/

Well, its one of the most disproportionate pieces of spacecraft I've seen, but since its beyond our comprehension, one can only guess.

Wait a sec. Wasn't that alien ship from Buckarro-Bonzai fairly disproportionate?

I know! lol! :- ) I was trying not to make this thread appear identical with what has gone before Administration Staff so I'm hoping you will extend me a little lattitude upon this one... Thanks if you do. Regards, ( IRBESE )

I think you're on to something with the idea of 'does the horse shoe have capabilities we dont yet know about.' I doubt it was built for crash landing and sending out distress signals. I myself have wondered if it might have some spinning motion that makes it go real fast in deep space. Or maybe some kind of weapon or portal opening device to explain it's strange shape.

I think of the B-Wing Fighters in Return of the Jedi who's wings invert 90 degrees to the vertical from the pilot's cockpit and also Matt La Blacs charater from Lost In Space who's fighter machine inverts from 90 to 180 degrees at times then right back again!

I'm not so certain about the entire Juggernaught spinning around as I think the Bio-Engineers or the original architechs of the Juggernaught/Derilict's design would have been more elegant in their thinking I almost certain of it. It would almost look silly and in some ways uncouth for want of a better word to have the whole craft spinning around. Far better to see it invert 90 degrees to the horizontal then perhaps 180 onto the vertical perhaps for take-off and landing proceedures. Perhaps turning 360 dgrees on the horizontal all the way around the control Chair and all the while the "lone" pilot remains horizontal and its the ship that appears to move, fold and rotate around him for different modes of propulision and manuverability functions. I do not want to come off sounding like I am repeating myself from a former thread Admin which is why I wanted to introduce the Recodnizer analogy to the fray for discussion.

I'm just in love with the fact that it doesn't seem to be burning dinosaurs.
