This is the official Prometheus-Movie.com GIF thread. Here, I will post high definition GIF images made by site contributors which will feature scenes from various Prometheus trailers which feature spoiler-ish content frame by frame.
This will allow dissecting scenes easier and will also offer you something to share on other forums or around these boards! Special thanks to [b]The Xeno[/b] for making these! More still to come!

MemberOvomorphJun-10-2012 12:10 PMInterestingly, the term "Hammerpede" would indicate that that the creature is 'hammer-legged', which of course is incorrect. "Hammercephalus" would be more suitable, or even just "Hammerpod".
I like the term "Cobralien" whoever coined that - great gifs btw!

It must turn into [i]something[/i] big like the queen...or even that hammer-head xeno seen in the new Aliens: colonial marines game.

AdminEngineerJun-13-2012 11:23 PMI hope it doesn't turn into that hammer-head xeno from Aliens: Colonial Marines. I'm sorry, but I really dislike that concept a lot. Keep the Aliens creepy looking - nothing creepy about an Elephant. Which in my opinion is what that new "Xeno" tends to resemble.
However I do agree with you about speculating what this new "Bodyburster" as I call it will turn into. I imagine it will get pretty BIG.. perhaps a Queen, or perhaps just a really nasty killing machine.
I'll be curious to see if this Alien some how inter mingles with any other Alien species in the next Prometheus film(s).

MemberOvomorphJun-19-2012 11:58 PMI like the original Alien, but could use some modern updates so the actor does not suffer so much... plus they need the clear portion of the dolphin head but without the eyes...LOL that was totally creepy looking. Thanks for starting this Chris.
