That looks awsome. For those keeping up with game development and delay, should know that it will have a prometheus link and possible campaign/map tie to this summers movie. I starting to upgrade my rig already.

I've been looking at this for a while, but now it looks much more interesting. The bad part about it is that it was to be released this fall, but they've pushed it back to almost valentine's day of next year. HUGE bummer.

D:< I was all ready to plow through this game come October....but now that I think about it, they may have pushed it back because they know that Medal of Honor™ Warfighter & Black Ops 2 will completely destroy this game (speaking from a financial perspective, of course). Not saying Colonial Marines will be a terrible game or anything; I'm sure it will be awesome, considering that this is touted to be "thee sequel" to the 1986 Aliens movie. But, I am a realist, for better or for worse, and the reality is that contemporary military-themed shooters are where it's at, with COD being the first name in the industry. I guess it would be unwise to release Aliens™ Colonial Marines at the same time when the two top companies in the industry release their whores, er, games at about the same time. ..... ...so how 'bout a demo, Sega? @[b]RedLeader[/b] Oh yeah I heard about that a month ago. I've not seen Prometheus yet (none of us have, I think), but I'm anxious to see how they link this game with that movie. All we know is that the game will include the Derelict (or Juggernaut, whatever it's called). It would be cool to see if we encounter any creatures we may see in Prometheus; maybe that's why they're tight-lipped about what enemies we'll encounter in this game......or maybe they're tight-lipped because they don't want to reveal that the xenos we encounter are reminiscent of the Kenner toy-line from back in the early 90's, but that's just something my friend joked about at one point. xD

I didnt think about BLOPS 2 coming out this year and Medal of Honor, I suppose you're right.

Cmon people , MoH Warfighter and CoD Black Ops would destroy this game if they all go out at the same time ... Reason 2 ? They are upgrading game with changing story and end of the game , adding new levels missions and characters so that they can connect aliens with derelict at the same planet ... U all know that they saw the movie script of Prometheus and that they talked to R.S. and FOX ... Thats why game is delayed . It takes time to change story add missions and designning rest of the game ... Thats it !

wow played socom and cod for years and years and I must say this game LOOKS ABOUT 50 GABILLION MORE TIMES the fun..IT AIN'T EVEN CLOSE...THE SHELF LIFE ON COD AND SOCOM AND GAMES LIKE THAT IS NEXT TO NOTHING !!! JUST WAY TOO MANY ENTERPRISING LITTLE F'N GLITCHERS ALL OVER THE PLACE 9 TIMES OUT OF 10 YA WALK AWAY FEELING CHEATED OR ANGRY !!! AND I WAS ONE OF THE HIGHEST RANKED PLAYERS TO PLAY SOCOM ONLINE AND COD 5 YEARS RUNNING!!! IT ONLY TOOK 5 YEARS BUT I LEARNED HOW GAMES LIKE THIS ONE CAN BE 50 GABILLION TIMES THE FUN..FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN THIS GAME LOOKS LIKE A MASTERPIECE SO FAR!!! FINALLY, IT LOOKS LIKE WE ARE ALL GOING TO GET THE ALIEN GAME WE ALWAYS WANTED. Not sure that it connects to Prometheus... I did hear that they go down to the Derelict on LV426, i assume they come across the Egg Chamber.... And latter they come across the Engineer/Space Jockeys.... So i would assume in the Games Universe there are Engineers alive after the events of Alien. We dont know if that would be the case for a Prometheus 2 yet... maybe it would be good idea to, or maybe that movie will steer away from them who knows.

I know the plot was originally an extension from the end of "ALIENS", a direct sequel to it in fact, wonder if that's been changed too?

Sorry...but it doesn't look that great to me. If you want creepy science fiction, you can't go wrong with "Dead Space 1/2" - they and "Bioshock" are THE best. I do love hearing the sound effects of the tracker and guns...just like the movies. Does anyone know if these tracks are available to download? An escalating "tracker" ringtone would be awesome!

They are supposedly doing a Dead Space style Alien game in the not to distant future.

@Spartacus: Bless your heart bro, SOCOM was the end-all, be-all ruler of console tactical shooters. Then it came to PS3 and sucked ballz.
