How long did it take for the Sulaco to get to LV-426? Obviously, long enough that the crew needed to be in hypersleep, but how much time passed from the time that communication with the colonists was lost and Ripley & the colonial Marines arrived?

Rough calculations suggest a FTL speed of 694,681,166,666.667 KMH (or 11,578,019,444.444 KM/Min). Based on a distance of 37 light years (11.35 parsecs) to Zeta 2 Reticuli and 3 weeks travel time. Calculations are open to conjecture.

Distance Travelled divided by Time Taken = Speed Speed divided by Speed Of Light = X times the Speed Of Light I think... too early for equations like that here in the UK

Although things have probably gotten faster by that time, in Aliens, it was said by Hicks that it would've taken 17 days for an extraction USCM crew to get to them.
