Ripley Clone 8
MemberOvomorph01/22/2012I'll be making GIFS for members who have at least 100 posts if they would like one. I'd be willing to create a GIF from Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, Alien Resurrection or the Prometheus trailer. Just let me know from what movie and from what scene and I would be happy to cook one up for you.
Here's a quick sample of one I just scummed up. Realize this is JUST A SAMPLE and the quality may differ from the actual thing. I will be making these in dimensions roughly around 200 x 200. The reason why is so it looks fit as your icon. If its too small or too big it will become blurry.
Unfortunately as of right now, because the Prometheus trailer is uploaded from the net to my program the quality is slightly less than a GIF straight from a DVD or Blu-Ray package. So just grin and bear it with me until the release of Prometheus.
Overall I just want the members and I to have fun here discussing our thoughts on Prometheus and thought making some GIF icons might add a little more "life" to the site.

MemberOvomorph01/24/2012Hahaha....I have been okay. Keeping under the radar for now. Been doing school and getting ready for Art History and then Graphic classes....have a lot to learn in Adobe Illustrator and Indesign, as well as Photoshop. A lot to learn but I am looking forward to having fun with these programs...and being creative. How about you bud? How have you been?

MemberOvomorph01/24/2012An IPad won't run flash unfortunately. GIFS are unrecognizable using those kinds of devices. You will have to use your computer to adjust your photo.

Please can i request a GIF of alien's outer mouth & "little mouth" slowly opening & flicking out for Brett, from the original film.. possibly a bit of the head raising before hand aswell, pending clip length..

"when I tried putting the link straight into the url on my profile it didn't work, so a pasted the link into my browser and then copied the url of the image i was taken to and used that instead, seems to work fine. long winded but fine... try that"
1. Copy the url and paste it into your browser
2. If the url takes you to the image just copy the url the image gives you
3. paste the url in your image bar and update your profile.
